A Simple Way to Organize and Decorate a Playroom

Hey y’all! I wanted to share our playroom today because I can’t tell you how many times I have searched “toy room decor”, “organization”, “toddler playroom”, and other similar titles. We are VERY blessed with our new house that the boys have their own room to keep all the crazy contained. So with all that, I hope sharing the boys playroom helps another searching mama!

The above picture of Rocker reading was not staged! I did a full on Marie Kondo to this room and dumped every one of those buckets to organize it this morning because my gosh it was a nightmare. Transformer heads, Super Wing arms, Hot Wheels, and between the amount of Paw Patrol and PJ Mask toys that we own we will have a killer garage sale one day! For today, those buckets are organize with dress up clothes, cars (2 buckets full), balls, blocks, tools, stuffed animals, action figures… well you get the picture. They’re sorted (for the next 3 hours of nap time).

The gallery wall is a mixture of finds on trips and Hobby Lobby. Jaxn Blvd is one of my all time favorite sign makers. They are so cute and sold in Hobby Lobby! I’ve read that you can find them in TJ Maxx but I’ve never found one. You can also shop her website.



On the opposite corner is their play house with a kitchen, it’s a Step 2. The Little Tikes STEM Lab I got at Target in their clearance section for $15! It was a total score because Rocker loves doing “conspierences” also know as experiments. We have their parking lot line up of scooters, grocery trolls, and other ride and sit wheel toys. The wooden signs were a gift from their Aunt Kit Kat. They’re made by My Signature Timber. The wallpaper is peel and stick from Target. I have a full blog post about how to install the wallpaper.

White Curtains, Curtain Rod, Slide, Basketball Goal, Hot Wheels Track (some of these aren’t the exact but they are very similar!)
