School Supplies “Cake”
It’s that time of the year again where YOU as the parent make the choice.. are you the parent that buys the prepackaged school supplies- all bundled for you…. or are you the parent that braves the store to find the perfect 10 pack of colored pencils?!
In case you can’t already tell, I’m the parent that braves the store because the amount of joy that I find from school supplies is almost embarrassing. Almost.
But let’s talk about the reason you are here right now!!! The School Supplies Cake!!!
The School Supplies Cake has become a back-to-school tradition in my house so let’s break it down!
Here’s a back to school list for supplies ideas!
Here are previous years “cakes” I’ve made-
Directions/Tips for making your own:
– Choose a flat base like construction paper or a tub full of crayons. His gives you something to build up on and is easily carried!
– Your tiers going up the cake can be tissues, boxes of supplies, or wipes.
– Hot glue your layers to each other to secure them in place
– To hold your pens, markers, pencils, ect. to each layer you’ll use a rubber band. The rubber band should help secure your tiers.
– Once your layers are all formed, you’ll hide the rubber band by hot gluing a ribbon on top.
– Add a topper, and embellishments, and you’re done!

Tier 3: Two boxes of sharpened pencils with pencil sharpeners, expo markers, and markers
Tier 4: Box of glue sticks with hand sanitizer and liquid glue
Tier 5: Post its
