The Scoop on The Coop:
We LOVE this place and are frequent flyers (get it.. bird.. coop. ha!) Last week, we visited for a playdate with my brother and cousin to get out of the house and let the boys run. We took three boys (3 years, 1.5 years, and 11 months).
When you first walk in you are greeted by bright orange and yellow with the cutest picnic table. I typically bring a snack, water, socks for me, and thats it! You’ll sign your kiddos in and pay and I hope Jackye is there when you go because she is INCREDIBLE. I have nothing but warm and fuzzies to say about Jackye. Kids take their shoes off and put them on the racks and go play!
There are multiple play areas set up for kids, which is perfect for keeping them busy. There’s a kitchen/house area with a magnet wall and ball game in a smaller room off of the back of the main play area. They’ve also got a mini bounce house with a basketball hoop inside (Rockers favorite!), and in the middle of the main play area is the ball pit with two slides. They also have a small area set up with toys like a wooden train, cars, and a tee-pee. Lastly, there is an interactive game board for kids to run and play on with games like soccer, bug squish, and step on the ketchup packet. The flooring of the entire play area is turf, so no hard surfaces! If your little needs a break they have snacks and drinks available for purchase.
We had Rocker’s 2nd birthday here and their birthday parties are just as fab! We brought in whatever decorations we wanted, they ordered pizza, and the kids just GO!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. It’s clean, kid friendly, the staff is over the top sweet, they have the cutest birthday parties, and the owner is a Chi Omega! Hoot hoot! If you’re looking for a playdate spot I would definitely recommend The Coop!
