Gifts for Littles

We celebrated Jagger’s birthday last month and I’ve been drafting this post in my head ever since then. If you’re looking for a birthday gift for a little here’s a list of gifts that we LOVE giving and receiving. Here is a quick link to Amazon for any and all toddler gifts!  (Most of the items linked below are in this list)

Any age-

  • Shop Highway 3: Personalized blankets, towels, pillows and more. Both boys have their blankets and beach towels
  • Books: We love books with personal messages inside them and recently found recordable books! These are great gifts for grandparents to give so that their littles can always hear their voices. Our favorites are If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Llama Llama, Wacky Wednesday, Sandra Boyton books, and Brown Bear Brown Bear
  • Melissa and Doug Water Wow books: These can be used over and over and are no mess or fuss
  • Poke-A-Dot books: These keep Jagger busy right now and Rocker loved them too!
  • Mega Blocks: We’ve built so many forts, houses, airplanes, robots, rockets… you name it!
  • Circle Name Signs: Cute idea to add to a nursery, kids room, or play room
  • Personalized Name Books: These are incredible! Aunt Kit Kat got Rocker one for Christmas and it is adorable!
  • Balls.. y’all seriously. Nothing specific here just balls. Ha!

3+

  • Transformers by Playskool these are SO age appropriate and transform with typically one or two moves which is perfect for Rocker because he can do them on his own!
  • Melissa and Doug Dress Up: There are tons of dress up outfits that have the cutest little props and details
  • Little Tikes Basketball Hoop: To be honest anything little tikes is awesome. Their Cozy Coupe, scooters, play houses, slide, trampoline, and well everything is perfect for gift giving! We own everything these sell and the boys love it all!
  •  Remote Control Race Car: Once again age appropriate here! The struggle of a three year old that can’t figure out how to play with his new race car is real y’all. This one Rocker has had since his 2nd birthday and he knew instantly how to make it work
  • Hot Wheels: yes the 99 cent cars.. Rocker loves getting these when we see my parents and they are cheap. We buy a couple at a time and slowly give them to him when we are out and about. These are great for when we are out to dinner or somewhere we need his hands to be occupied!

You can also think about places that the littles could go to and buy family passes, memberships, or day tickets. The Dallas Zoo has great family packages for unlimited visits and is one of our favorite places. Gifts don’t have to be objects, they can be experiences too! Think outside the box and I’ll keep adding to this list as we find new favorites!
